Description
Intelligent Humidity Control for Larger Homes. Designed & Manufactured in the UK.
Take control of excess moisture, condensation and damp with the Ebac 4650 Smart Control Dehumidifier. Designed for medium to larger family homes, this UK-manufactured compressor dehumidifier combines Ebac's intelligent Smart Control technology with convenient app connectivity for easier everyday humidity management.
Smart Control automatically responds to changing moisture conditions rather than relying solely on a fixed manual setting, while the Ebac Smart App gives you additional control and monitoring from your compatible smartphone.
Suitable for 3–4 bedroom homes and households of up to 5 people, the Ebac 4650 also features Laundry Mode, Intelligent Defrost, two fan speeds, a 3.5-litre enclosed water container and optional permanent drainage.
Ebac Smart Control Technology
The Ebac 4650 uses Smart Control technology to provide more automated humidity management around your home.
Rather than requiring constant manual adjustment, Smart Control monitors changing conditions and adjusts the dehumidifier's operation accordingly, switching on when moisture needs removing and reducing unnecessary operation once conditions improve.
The system is designed to account for the changing patterns of moisture found in everyday homes, providing a convenient set-and-forget approach to humidity control.
Control & Monitor with the Ebac Smart App
Built-in app connectivity gives you greater control over the Ebac 4650 from a compatible smartphone.
Using the Ebac Smart App, you can access operating controls, adjust preferred humidity settings and monitor your dehumidifier without needing to be standing next to the appliance.
This is particularly convenient in larger or multi-storey homes where the dehumidifier may not always be within easy reach.
Designed for 3–4 Bedroom Homes
The Ebac 4650 is designed for larger household moisture loads and is suitable for 3–4 bedroom homes with up to 5 occupants.
The supplied guidance also specifies suitability for properties up to approximately 180m² / 360m³, although actual requirements will depend on the home's temperature, humidity and the amount of moisture being generated.
It's designed to help manage everyday moisture from activities such as showering, cooking and drying laundry indoors while helping reduce condensation and conditions associated with persistent damp.
Helps Control Condensation, Damp & Excess Humidity
Excess moisture within a home can lead to condensation on windows and cold surfaces and contribute to persistent damp conditions.
The Ebac 4650 removes moisture from the air to help maintain more appropriate indoor humidity levels and reduce condensation.
Its automatic Smart Control system makes it particularly useful for ongoing humidity management rather than waiting until visible condensation becomes a problem.
Dedicated Laundry Drying Mode
Drying washing indoors can release a considerable amount of moisture into your home. The Ebac 4650 includes a dedicated Laundry Mode to help remove that moisture from the surrounding air.
This can support indoor clothes drying while reducing the amount of laundry-generated moisture left circulating around your property.
It's particularly useful during colder or wetter weather when outdoor drying isn't practical.
Designed & Manufactured in the UK
The Ebac 4650 is designed and manufactured in the UK with the conditions found in British homes in mind.
Its compressor-based dehumidification system works alongside Intelligent Defrost to support operation across temperatures from 3°C to 35°C.
With a specified power consumption of 190W, Smart Control is designed to manage operation according to the moisture conditions within your home rather than simply running continuously.
3.5 Litre Enclosed Water Container
Extracted moisture is collected inside a 3.5-litre enclosed water container.
The internal tank includes an integrated handle to make removal and emptying more convenient, while a container-full indicator lets you know when attention is required.
The dehumidifier automatically stops when the container is full, helping prevent overflowing.
Optional Permanent Drainage
For installations where regularly emptying the water container isn't convenient, the Ebac 4650 supports permanent drainage.
When connected to a suitable drain using the appropriate optional hose, collected water can be continuously drained away rather than accumulating in the internal tank.
Drainage hose sold separately.
Two Fan Speeds & Boost Mode
The Ebac 4650 provides two fan speeds together with a Boost Mode for times when increased performance is required.
Despite its intelligent functionality, everyday operation remains straightforward, with Smart Control handling much of the routine humidity management automatically.
Carbon Filter Included
A carbon filter is supplied as standard, providing additional air treatment as air passes through the dehumidifier.
Replacement carbon filters are also available when required as part of ongoing maintenance.
Practical Everyday Design
Integrated side and rear carry handles make the Ebac 4650 easier to reposition around your home, while a built-in cable tidy provides convenient storage for the power lead.
An optional castor kit can also be fitted if you want to make regular movement between rooms easier.
