Shark CarpetXpert Carpet Cleaners

Carpet Washers for Pets & Stains

An upright carpet washer can be particularly useful in homes dealing with muddy footprints, spills and pet mess. Water and compatible cleaning solution are worked into the carpet before dirty water is extracted back into the machine.

Selected models also include hoses and tools for more targeted stain cleaning. Always use cleaning solutions approved for your particular machine.

Upright or Portable Carpet Cleaner?

An upright carpet cleaner is generally the better choice when you regularly wash larger carpeted rooms. A portable cleaner is smaller and more convenient for individual spills, stairs, upholstery and other targeted jobs.

If spot cleaning is your main priority, explore our Portable Carpet Cleaners. Compatible solutions and replacement items can be found in Carpet Cleaning Accessories.

How to Choose an Upright Carpet Cleaner

Consider the size of your carpeted areas, tank capacity, cleaning width, brush system and machine weight. For homes with pets or frequent spills, look for suitable stain-cleaning tools or pet-focused features.
