Description
Lightweight Cordless Cleaning. Illuminated Dust Detection. Up to 60 Minutes Runtime.
Make everyday cleaning easier with the Dyson V12 Detect Slim Cordless Vacuum Cleaner – V12DETCT2. Weighing just 2.37kg, this lightweight cordless vacuum combines versatile floor-to-ceiling cleaning with specialist cleaner heads for carpets and hard flooring.
On hard floors, the Optic Fluffy cleaner head illuminates fine particles that can otherwise be difficult to see, helping reveal hidden dust as you clean. For carpets and mixed flooring, the supplied Motorbar cleaner head provides powered pickup of everyday dirt, debris and hair.
With up to 60 minutes maximum cordless runtime, HEPA filtration and additional tools for stairs, upholstery and confined spaces, the V12 Detect Slim provides a flexible solution for regular whole-home cleaning without the restriction of a mains cable.
Lightweight 2.37kg Cordless Cleaning
At approximately 2.37kg, the Dyson V12 Detect Slim is designed to be easy to lift, carry and manoeuvre around the home.
Its relatively low weight is particularly useful when cleaning stairs, moving between floors or tackling furniture and other suitable above-floor surfaces.
The slim cordless format also makes the V12 Detect Slim convenient for quick clean-ups when you don't want the bulk or cable of a traditional upright vacuum cleaner.
Up to 60 Minutes Runtime
The rechargeable cordless design provides a manufacturer-stated maximum runtime of up to 60 minutes, giving you the freedom to move throughout your home without continually changing plug sockets.
Actual runtime will vary depending on the selected operating mode, cleaner head and cleaning conditions. Powered cleaner heads and higher-power settings can reduce runtime compared with the maximum figure.
Optic Fluffy Cleaner Head
The included Optic Fluffy cleaner head is designed specifically for hard-floor cleaning and illuminates fine dust as you move across the surface.
Fine particles can easily blend into hard flooring under normal room lighting. Making this dust more visible helps you identify areas that still require cleaning rather than relying on what can be seen in ambient light alone.
The illumination can be particularly useful in darker areas, along edges and underneath suitable furniture where fine dust may otherwise go unnoticed.
Motorbar Cleaner Head
For carpets, rugs and other suitable flooring, the supplied Motorbar cleaner head provides powered cleaning to lift everyday dirt, debris and hair.
Having both the Motorbar and Optic Fluffy heads allows you to select a cleaner head better suited to the surface being vacuumed, making the V12 Detect Slim a versatile choice for homes with mixed flooring.
Suitable for All Floor Types
The supplied specification lists the V12 Detect Slim as suitable for all floor types, including carpets and compatible hard flooring.
The Optic Fluffy head is the specialist choice for detailed hard-floor cleaning, while the Motorbar is particularly suited to carpets and rugs.
Always follow the flooring manufacturer's care instructions, particularly with delicate rugs and specialist floor finishes.
Mini Motorhead
The included Mini Motorhead brings powered cleaning to smaller areas where a full-size floor head would be less convenient.
It's particularly useful for stairs, sofas, chairs and suitable upholstered furniture, helping collect hair, dust and debris from these surfaces.
Crevice Tool
The slim Crevice Tool helps reach narrow gaps and confined areas that larger attachments cannot easily access.
Use it around room edges, skirting boards, between furniture and in other tight spaces where dust and debris tend to accumulate.
HEPA Filtration
The supplied specification confirms HEPA filtration, helping capture fine particulate matter collected during vacuuming as air passes through the filtration system.
This provides effective fine-dust filtration alongside the V12 Detect Slim's everyday floor-cleaning performance.
No specific particle-capture percentage or micron rating is supplied for this particular product listing, so these figures should not be assumed from other Dyson models.
Floor-to-Ceiling Versatility
The lightweight cordless format allows the V12 Detect Slim to clean more than just your floors.
With the appropriate attachment, it can tackle stairs, suitable furniture, room edges, corners and other above-floor areas, while the lack of a trailing mains cable makes moving between different parts of the home straightforward.
Compact 0.35-Litre Dust Bin
The integrated reusable dust container has a capacity of approximately 0.35 litres.
Its compact size contributes to the vacuum's lightweight and slim design. Homes with pets or heavier levels of debris may naturally need to empty the bin more frequently.
Wall Dock Included
A Wall Dock is supplied with the V12 Detect Slim, providing a convenient wall-mounted location for storing the vacuum between cleaning sessions.
This is particularly useful where floor or cupboard space is limited and helps keep the vacuum easily accessible for quick clean-ups.
