The Motorbar cleaner head helps lift embedded dirt and hair from carpets, while the included tangle-free turbine tool makes it easier to tackle pet hair on sofas, chairs and other suitable upholstery.
With advanced 5-stage filtration including HEPA, a generous 1.8-litre dust bin and a 9.5-metre power cable, the Dyson Ball Animal 2 is designed to make regular cleaning more convenient without the need to recharge a battery.
Powerful Cleaning for Homes with Pets
Pet hair can quickly build up on carpets, furniture and floors, particularly in homes with cats and dogs.
The Dyson Ball Animal 2 is designed to handle these everyday challenges, combining a full-size upright cleaner head with specialised attachments for collecting pet hair from different surfaces.
From embedded hair in carpets to loose fur on upholstery, the included cleaning tools help you tackle pet-related mess throughout the home.
Motorbar Cleaner Head for Deep Floor Cleaning
The Motorbar cleaner head is designed to work into carpet fibres, helping lift embedded dirt, dust and pet hair.
Its cleaning action makes it particularly useful for busy areas such as living rooms, hallways and other frequently used spaces.
The cleaner head is also designed for use on suitable hard floors, giving you flexibility when moving between different floor surfaces.
Tangle-Free Turbine Tool for Pet Hair
Pet hair often becomes trapped in sofas, chairs and other fabric-covered furniture.
The included tangle-free turbine tool is designed to remove hair from suitable upholstery while reducing the hair wrapping associated with conventional brush-bar designs.
It's particularly useful for:
- Removing pet hair from sofas and armchairs
- Cleaning suitable upholstered furniture
- Collecting hair from fabric-covered surfaces
- Reducing interruptions caused by tangled hair
The tool helps minimise hair tangling, although occasional inspection and cleaning may still be required.
Advanced 5-Stage Filtration with HEPA
The Dyson Ball Animal 2 features an advanced 5-stage filtration system designed to capture dust and fine particles as air passes through the vacuum.
Its HEPA filtration provides effective fine-particle capture within the cleaner, helping reduce the amount of collected dust released back into the room through the exhaust.
This makes it a practical choice for households looking for effective dust collection alongside powerful floor cleaning.
Dyson Ball Technology for Easy Manoeuvrability
Dyson's distinctive Ball technology helps the upright vacuum steer smoothly around furniture and household obstacles.
Rather than relying solely on conventional fixed-direction wheels, the Ball design supports easier direction changes as you clean.
This is particularly useful when navigating around tables, chairs and other furniture in busy rooms.
Suitable for Carpets & Hard Floors
The Dyson Ball Animal 2 is designed for versatile cleaning across a range of household floor surfaces.
It can be used on suitable:
- Carpets
- Rugs
- Hard floors
- Tiles
- Laminate flooring
- Other compatible sealed flooring
Always follow your flooring manufacturer's cleaning recommendations and use the appropriate vacuum settings for delicate or specialist surfaces.
Telescopic Wand for Extended Reach
The adjustable telescopic wand helps you clean areas that are difficult to reach with the main upright floor head.
Combined with the hose and included accessories, it provides flexibility for cleaning stairs, corners, edges and suitable above-floor surfaces.
This makes the Ball Animal 2 useful for more than everyday floor cleaning.
Dedicated Stair & Combination Tools
The Dyson Ball Animal 2 includes a selection of accessories to support cleaning throughout the home.
The Stair Tool helps tackle dirt and debris on individual steps without needing to position the full upright cleaner head on each stair.
The Combination Tool provides versatility for smaller cleaning tasks, including suitable furniture, shelves, skirting boards and corners.
An included Tool Holder helps keep accessories conveniently organised.
Generous 1.8-Litre Dust Capacity
The Dyson Ball Animal 2 features a 1.8-litre dust container, providing useful capacity for regular household cleaning.
The larger bin helps reduce how frequently you need to stop and empty collected debris compared with smaller-capacity vacuum cleaners.
This is particularly convenient when cleaning larger areas or collecting substantial amounts of pet hair.
9.5-Metre Power Cable for Greater Reach
A generous 9.5-metre mains cable allows you to clean across larger rooms and hallways with fewer changes between plug sockets.
Because the Dyson Ball Animal 2 is a corded upright vacuum, there is no rechargeable battery to manage or cordless runtime limit.
This makes it a practical choice for longer whole-home cleaning sessions.
Five-Year Dyson Guarantee
The Dyson Ball Animal 2 comes with a 5-year guarantee, as stated in the supplied product information.
Keep your proof of purchase and follow Dyson's guarantee terms and maintenance instructions.
